I spotted this eagle on top of a sandy hill on the side of the highway. I was out for a bike ride at the time, though that came to a halt when he caught my eye. I take my camera everywhere just for reasons like this. I climbed up the hill far away from him and spied on him for quite some time. As I got closer I was able to peek through the trees and capture this image right before he spotted me and flew away.
