Description
Alberta still has a fairly large population of free roaming horses in the Foothills from Kananaskis to Grand Prairie. I was recently photographing a band of such horses west of Sundre when all of a sudden, a lone male came close and "charged" a mature, established stallion of a band of four wild horses. It was all over in a matter of a minute as the challenger was sent on its way after loosing the "battle".
