Description
This humpback know as "Big Mama" was lunge feeding in the Strait of Georgia. It was really fascinating to watch. With Humpback Whales, they will swim under a school of fish, come straight up, open their mouth, and gulp down the small fish that are feeding at the surface. It was cool watching her throat grooves expand as she took in the massive volume of fish and water.
