Description
I spent 3 days, in a snowstorm, with a few hundred Juncos. I got to know them fairly well. The light was very grey, but I was adding flash for detail. I grew bored of shooting the birds sitting on branches, as they waited to get to the feeders. The is when I started shooting the birds in flight. I have minimal use of my right hand, so a tripod, pre-focussing, and a lot of shots became my method. I now have dozens of shots like these. We all had fun!
