Description
As I was standing in an opening, watching the birds along the shore, I was all of a sudden joined by this juvenile bald eagle. I saw it flying around and pointed my camera towards it, trying to follow it as it was flying. What I didn't expect, was for it to land on a log not far from where I was standing. I was standing still enough, so it must not have seen me, or it didn't see me as a threat. Either way, I was incredibly grateful that this eagle chose to land so close to me.
