Renowned Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky is known for his large-scale photographs of landscapes that have been “disrupted” by human intervention and the growth of consumer culture.

In conjunction with their current exhibition Edward Burtynsky: The Landscape That We Change, The McMichael Canadian Art Collection is pleased to sponsor this Shoot This photo assignment. How have the landscapes you’ve encountered changed? Anything goes – large-scale or small, natural or urban, in conflict with nature or positive solutions to growing problems.

Each photo submitted will be entered in a random draw for the chance to win a Landscape That We Change Prize Package (valued at $350), a two-day nature photography class with Gary Conway at the McMichael (valued at $179), and one of 20 family passes (valued at $30 each) to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
