Canadian Geographic Photo Club - Waxwing in the Cedar

Waxwing in the Cedar

by Doug_Pruner from Ashton CA on 13 Jun 2018

A Cedar Waxwing taking a break from nest building in my hedge to stare down an intruder, namely me. The feathers on the waxwings are so fine and sleek that at first I found it difficult to check the focus. The reflection in the eye though confirms it.
