Tuliptree Flower

by Allen_Woodliffe from Chatham CA on 07 Jun 2018

This is one of the most spectacular of the Canadian tree flowers. It occurs on Tuliptrees, which are mostly limited to southern Ontario. It is in bloom right now. The trees themselves can grow to over 35 metres in height, straight as an arrow. The flowers are mostly at the top, so not many people get to see them close-up.
