Salmon Trail

by Sticks from Chilanko Forks CA on 04 Sep 2017

We found salmon running thick in the river and tributaries : Chum, Coho, Pink :) It was unusual for us to see them all so plainly at the same time. The locals said it has been a funny year!

Ol' Job was fascinated watching them in the water! When the salmon would be heading up stream in the shallows - Job thought that was the best :) He had a bath down in Bella Coola to get the salmon smell out of him before we came back up "The Hill." Thank you for your posts! What do you think of "Jenny's Coin" ? What a cool honour for a photographer eh! Maybe yer next :) I am making my way to the Island tomorrow.
