Thank you for your interest Robert. Yes, flies are very cool to photograph. This one was resting and soaking up the warm sun shine. This was not taken on a phone, but my Lumix point and shoot with a macro lens.

Flies are actaully really quite cool, aren't they? As photographic subjects. One is lucky if they can get them when they are still. They seem to be clenaing their sensory hairs and such when they are still. Is this on a phone? That's what the camera metadata seems to say on the page. I have a vivitar 3 lens set for phones, and the macro for it is spectacular, though you do have to get rather up close with it. It does allow you resolve things that are smaller than you usually get with cameras, though. The macro lens, and the inherent short focal length of a phone camera really helps.
