Mountain Bluebird Blue

by ebamforth from Eastend CA on 08 Feb 2017

Mountain bluebirds come back to Eastend, Saskatchewan every spring. This female come up close to the reflective windows of the building I work in, presumably in search of insects. Her plumage seemed to be of the purest blue.

Beautiful. I never tire of seeing this beautiful bird out in our territory either! A common occurrence that delights the senses ever time you see them. It almost looks like a neat filter effect from your camera - rather than the window effect. I like it.
Thanks :)
