Tulips....on trees

by Allen_Woodliffe from Chatham CA on 19 Jun 2016

Trees have flowers, but very few are as large and showy as the ones on the Tuliptree. It is restricted in Canada to the Carolinian Life Zone, which is in extreme southwestern Ontario. Late May through to mid-June is prime time for these impressive flowers to appear. sometimes by the hundreds.
