That has to be the perfect way to get a shot like this. Love the curve of the rocks, the great pose he gave you and the mood of the image.

I thoroughly enjoyed my inflatable boat this summer. I could only get out on calm waters though. The seagulls just let me float in, at one point they moved off to another rock. But it is a great way to relax and enjoy nature. Thanks for the feedback Heather.

I agree with Yves. Sometimes a simple, quiet shot is more effective than a busy scene. Lovely.

That is what attracted me to this image. THanks Jane.

I like very much that nature scene Debra. Simple, calm yet very interesting. Agree with you about the curves of the rock. The yellow line at the back and the current in front of the rock adds a nice look to the overall photo.

Thanks very much, urchin Yves, your comments are always appreciated.

Description
I was out in an inflatable boat with an electric motor and a group of seagulls let me get pretty close to them before moving away. This seagull just seemed content to stick around. I was extremely quiet just floating in amongst the rocks that the seagulls like to rest on. I like this shot for the gentle curve of the rocks and the loan seagull standing guard.
