Description
I was hoping to come across the Bluebirds again, before they are gone for the winter months, and I did! This group I came across, had just over 20 birds flying around together, hunting for food, which will be limited after we get a good frost and they will make their move south for the winter months. I was so happy to have come across them, and had this vision in my mind of hopefully capturing one in front of the beautiful fall colours. I was walking around and seen the group perched in a tree together, so I sat and waited. Not long after I sat down, they all started making their way to the fence in front of me. I had positioned myself so most of the fall foliage was behind one of the posts and said quietly to the birds, "if one of you could land on this post, that would be perfect." Well, as soon as I finished saying it, this young male flew and landed exactly where I wanted, I couldn't believe it!
