What a great find and capture, Yves. He blends in so well with the flower I can't imagine how you spotted him. Beautiful focus, tones and detail here.

Congrats, Yves. Great capture. You're right....sometimes you have to slow down, and look down to find the shot. Well done.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Jane. Your nice comments are always appreciated.

Debra Plett

Not sure how you managed to spot the spider Yves, but congrats on a beautifully composed and lit image.

Thanks so much for the appreciated comments Debra. I am very proud of that shot. The plant itself brings a lot of colours and texture to the shot and the autofocus worked perfectly to detail the spider (wich is not always the case with the 800mm at vey close range). This will be a 20x28in frame on the wall for sure)

Description
Walking sloooowly a vast field of wild flowers and plants. Taking all the time needed to check every inches of the dense vegetation for any subtyle movement. Waiting for a clear view with a good angle of light to finaly get that shot.
