Description
I first saw this moth on our property on some fireweed and got some photos of them. But since finding them, I wanted to try and find them again. They are very similar to Clearwing Hummingbird Moths, but quite a bit smaller, I was stumped on what they could be. But after some research, I believe this is called a Fireweed Clearwing Moth. I'm so happy I went out and looked for them again, and will definitely go back to find them on another day, they are so interesting.
