Heather Mellon

Nice one, Yves, I like the composition and contrasts you've captured between light and darkness here. Using the teleconverter and your settings brought out some very nice detail on the focal point dragonfly. I'd call that good camera work.

Yves Langlois

Thanks heather. So glad you see ( and appreciate) the different beautyful items that compose that more artistic picture.

Jane LeBlanc

I love the composition, Yves. The branch of leaves draws your eye to the dragonfly. Nicely done.

Yves Langlois

Thank you for the nice comments Jane.comment

Debra Plett

The light is bouncing off the green leaves nicely Yves creating a beautiful contrast with the dark bokeh. You have captured very nice detail in the dragonfly.

Yves Langlois

Thank you so much Debra. I am always proud when I create an artistic piece like that one. May I asked your help to understand David's comment. Does he mean I have made post editing and I should not.

Debra Plett

I am not quite sure Yves? We all edit our images to a certain degree. I wouldn’t worry about it, what is important is that you like the image and have shared it with the Cangeo community.

Yves Langlois

Thanks for the comforting words Debra. I will do so.

David Sheldon

Nice photo ! but you have obviously up the little guy , I can see the hairs standing up on the back of his neck .

Description
This shot is all about the composition of colours, forms and light vs darkness. The angle of shooting the dragonfly was chosen to produce that specific composition.
