Lucky you Debra. What a great find and awesome capture

Debra Plett

I sure am lucky Clifford. I will have to head over that way again and see if it was just by chance or if someone is raising them.

Super capture! Is this a regular occurrence?

Debra Plett

Thank you Scott. I don’t generally travel that road so I am not sure if he escaped from someone’s farm or if he lives in 5he area. I was very excited to have the opportunity it’s though.

Wow, what a rare opportunity to get a shot like this Debra. Maybe a runaway? The background is perfect for this gorgeous fellow and you captured him so beautifully here. Super shot.

Debra Plett

Thank you very much for the kind comments Heather. I am not sure if he is an escapee. He seemed very comfortable with his walk and the area so I think he does live in the area. I was lucky with the fence in the background as he crossed over to the other side of the road which wasn’t as pretty.

Thanks very much Yves. Yes Mother Nature sure provided this time, I was very thankful.

Great shot Debra. One of a kind beautyful bird. Another super compo with the fence. The yellow leaves backing the blue of the peacock is a natural match. Well done

Description
Was driving down one of the country roads in rural Springfield and was quite surprised and pleased to see this blue peacock just wondering along in the ditch beside the road.
