I especially like how the warm background tones shine through the contrasting textures of the branches. This is a terrific see through view of this beautiful flycatcher looking very much in his element here. Great work with your new camera Yves. Like Debra, I'm feeling a little envious too since I haven't had a chance to get out with the camera like I want to lately but hope to change that soon.
Yes, the new cam produce very nice bokeh and colors are much brighter. I think I will enjoy the season very much. I hope I will have a chance to comment your shots soon.
Nice job focusing and composing Yves. I am jealous of all the bird life you are encountering. The new camera gear is certainly a motivator to find and photograph those special moments. Please keep sharing, love those shots.
Thanks for the nice comments Debra. I found myself the problem with the bokeh. The protection filter he sold me was of a poor quality and was doing thoses black stripes in the bokeh. Its been 2 years of reflection and thinking to finaly moved to the new cam. It is a very big expence ($9,000). Since life gave me the money (in some way) I figure out she wants me to make the move. Still have to learn the new tricks whit the A7R4. but but so far it does a lot more than expected.
If the a7r4 has the lense release button on the right hand side be very careful in the fall and winter if you take pictures with gloves on. I have the a7 r3 and have now had an issue 3 times with accidentally hitting that lens krelease while wearing gloves. I have an extra strap going from the lens to the camera so if this happens neither will hit the ground.
Another great isolation shot highlighting the bird with awesome bokeh. Great focus and attention to detail
Thanks Clifford. Your comments are always appreciated. It is strange that whith the new camera I append to see new birds never seen before. I expect to do beautyful thing with the new cam.
