Beautiful capture Yves with excellent focus and detail. I like how you caught him in his element looking very relaxed and nicely complemented by the spring colours. Your new camera is working very well for you. Congrats on a great choice. Enjoy! Sorry for the delay in posting a comment, I haven't been online much lately.
No problemo for the delay but still I was wandering once in a while. Glad everyting is OK. For me it is not a hazard but the bird took the pose at just the best lighted spot around. There might be 10 years between the old A35 and my new A7R4. The new one is much better on many factors.
What a lovely shot Yves, great lighting and composition really shows off the goldfinch. Being a Sony user myself I am excited to see your images with the A7R4 camera and the 100 to 400 lens.
Thank you for the nice coment Debra. I also equiped the lens with a 2X CONVERTER. So the 100-400 becomes a 200-800. I will do safaries with and without the 2X. Not sue to keep the 2X because the 61 mégapixels (fullframe) allow heavy croping wile keeping a very good quality of photo. So far it is much easyer on the new cam. for a much greater quality result..
Thank you Clifford. I am learning with my new camera SONY A7R4. with a 100-400 mm lens.. Much better than the old A35. More luminous and better contrast. The good pose of the bird and the nice sun lighting make it all.
what a great shot of these awesome birds Yves. I like the attention to detail along with the soft focus in the background..great DOF..well done
