Description
This is a redbreasted nuthatch and they sure do zoom.... down to the feeder, back up to the trees — up and down, dozens of times a day. You often see them zigzaging down the trees head first, like a Skeleton competitor aided in this manoeuvre by the large hook-like claws on their back toes.
