Thank you very much Jeff.

A wonderful and very well detailed close-up of this beaver. The lighting on the water lilies around him make for a very beautiful image and it almost looks like he is pondering something or, as you suggested, that it was a little game he was playing. A very intriguing and delightful capture, and so well done as always, Yves.

Yves Langlois

Thank you very much for the nice comments Heather.

Debra Plett

Good eye Yves you have definitely made the leaf and the beaver the star in this shot. Lots of interesting elements in the water. Nicely captured.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Debra. I think it was a fun game for him, but he carefuly managed to keep it on his noze as far away as I could see him.

Description
Once upon a time there was a beaver swimming toward its favorite spot in the vastness of the marsh. Once in a while he was stopping to put his fingers on his mouth. Maybe chewing a tender branch, maybe tightening his grip on a branch he was carying. At any moment he could have get rid of the leaf on his noze, but never did.
