Timing is everything when it comes to getting a shot like this and you captured the moment perfectly in this beautiful mystical sunrise scene Yves. Your patience in getting this shot paid off in one of those truly magical morning captures. I too am sorry to think that you will no longer be an active part of the site. Your love for nature shines in every photograph that you've shared with us and I am going to miss your narratives which took viewing your work to another level of enjoyment and appreciation. Thank you for your kind comments and the insight you shared with us, they have always been very appreciated. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and all the very best to you in the New Year and beyond. If you ever reconsider, well, don't think twice about returning.

Thanks Heather. I knew that I had capture something good. But still I was amazed when I saw that I have nailed it (dixit Clifford) on my 17 inches screen. I will have a it printed on a quality poster paper 28x30 inches and put in a beautyful real frame (nothing less). I cheated myself to stay with you longer my friends. I knew it was a matter of time and now it is back. My desire to be part of our little group is not going to fade tomorrow. Today the sky is blocked by a huge mountain, but tomorrow is wide open, miracle do append in my life. The way you express yourself through the comments was for me a delight. Have a Merry Merry Christmast.

This is an incredible shot. It is so rewarding when all the time and effort that is put into trying to achieve greatness in an image is realized as you have in this one. All the elements aligned for you with the result being this masterpiece. I am so sorry to hear you will no longer be participating here as your critique and kind words have been such an inspiration. I truly hope all is well with you and wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and many more Happy New Years.

From you those comments are a real reward. Thank you so much. The more time I spend in nature, the more I believe that nature as a way to synchronize elements to please me with a beautyful scene like that one. The comments game with you, Debra and Heather was a wonderful adventure. I took something great from each of you. Something that make me a lot better. I Wish you happyness in every day of your life.

Stunning capture Yves. The fog lifting from the water and the beautiful muted reflections of the geese lifting off is mesmerizing. I love this shot hopefully you add it to your wall of fame. Sorry to hear of your departure from Cangeo photo club I will miss your images and the stories they told. Your images have inspired me and your comments fuelled me to create better images. It sure will go on my wall of fame, love it for all it means. It is when Mother Nature offers me a instant of that beauty that I appreciate all the experience acquired to capture it right. I will remerber you as the beautyful lady that played the comments game with me, shot after shot, not missing any. Happy holiday to you as well.

Description
Sun just burst over the horizon. The ghostly fog lasted 10 minutes. The mysterious ray of sunlight crossing the scene and morphing a wood stump into a golden statue lasted 2 minutes. The group of graceful geese lasted 2 sec. (and is totaly unpredictable). On that cold morning they all synchronized before my eyes for that picture to be taken. This is my Swan Song. I will not be active on the site anymore. Many thanks to all those that support me with a view during all the passed years.
