Nice shot Debra. The sun is someting we are missing a lot here too. When sat on a branch that bird always impress me with his presence of proud confidence. And you capture that special look very nicely with the red berries and blue sky.

Thanks very much Yves. I don’t see the Waxwings around here very often. Not sure if they will stay in the area after the berries are gone.

Looking so beautiful against the blue sky.. a lovely capture of this handsome Waxwing, Debra. Very nice composition and detail here and it looks like the berries will be gone soon too.

Debra Plett

Thank you Heather. Yes the berries are disappearing quickly.

Clifford Dupuis

this is one stellar looking waxwing that you have nicely captured and framed with the branches. Well done Debra

Debra Plett

Thank you Clifford. I thought he had a rather proud pose as well.

Description
Finally clear skies and some sunshine. Even the Waxwings were enjoying the weather and looking their prettiest today.
