Love that pose and eye contact. You captured his look of curiosity and cuteness so perfectly in this beautiful image Yves. I wonder what he was thinking too :)

I was greatly please when he gave me that pose. You know me. I could write a full page of what (I think) he think. It is a univers I am exploring actualy. Me and him have our own understanding of what the other is thinking. Is it the real truth? I don't care any more. Happyness don't feed on truth.

There is something special about eye contact with wild animals. I am sure you felt it. Lovely shot and what an expression. Yes, he is a cute little guy !

Debra Plett

Wow this one is a beauty Yves. The cute little guy has given you a very nice pose. And the tree adds some very nice texture to the image. Your soft bokeh is the icing on the cake. Super shooting.

Clifford Dupuis

nicely captures with an awesome expression. great detail and DOF make this one stand out

Description
Seeing I was not leaving the scene, the red squirrel decided to quit and jumped from the waste bin to the next tree trunk. He gave me a long expressive last look and climbed the tree faster than a bullet. Lost him in the dense canopy but I sure keep souvenir of the cute little guy.
