Hi Yves. It actually happens quite a bit. They are used to the boats after years of seeing them, so we are more of a curiosity than danger. Yes, it is thrilling to be that close.....thank you
He was gorgeous and not all torn up like some of the males. Perhaps he is still young enough not to fight for the female. He looked big enough!!!!!
Jenny, seeing him up this close would be pretty intimidating if one didn’t have all the experience with them that you and the guides have. Wonderful lighting and details on this big guy.
