A lovely capture of this bird doing routine maintenance on his feathers. The vireo's colors camouflage perfectly against the foliage of what looks like a willow tree to me. Great shot Yves.. and I can't believe I missed it earlier, guess I should use the search option more often.

True Heather. The camo of that bird is realy perfect. I knew he was there otherwise I would not have seen him.

Jenny Stevens

Yes, you are so correct about perfect camouflage. Could not do better.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Jenny

Debra Plett

Your narrative explains nicely what the images portray Yves. Thanks for pointing that out. Quite camouflaged in this pose but with a bit of a very tender look with the head turned back. Great shots.

Yves Langlois

Thanks Debra. I don't know the kind of tree but the bird sure has the perfect camo to blend in the foliage.

Description
Back side with perfect camouflage to live a longer life ( and increase the chance of seducing a partner ).
