Jeff

good one of that duck hard to do them

Heather Mellon

Such a pristine and natural view of this handsome wood duck who appears here as very much a part of his environment. Wonderful tones and detail surround him and the focus on him is perfect. Not an easy capture Yves, but a great one.. and so beautiful too.

Thank you very much for the well appreciated comments Heather. Love that picture because the beauty of the duck does not appear at first glance. The viewer must stop running and take the time to move forward in search of that beauty. He must want to see it.

Beautiful sharp focus on the duck Yves. The detail is amazing especially how the eye stands out. Well done.

Thank you so much Debra. Your comment is well appreciated. I think the lighted dwarf lily pads is doing great to enhence the scene.

Debra Plett

Very much so the light bounces off of them.

It sure looks like he gave you a challenge, but good on you for getting this awesome duck in his natural environment and camouflage It is a great pic

Yves Langlois

Thanks a lot Clifford. There is someting I like very much in that picture, despite the fact that the duck is comouflaged in the light and shadow texture.

Description
That wood duck did not want to pose at all. He was constantly hiding in the dense forest of cattails and dwarf waterlilies. Finaly got a chance in the light and shadows.
