The purple loosestrife spikes stand out so vibrantly against the softly mottled blue sky. Perfect focus, even on the little green lacewing on the center spike, one of my favorite beneficial insects, and it takes this shot to another level. A truly gorgeous capture Yves.

Thank you for the comments Clifford. The morning sunlight was perfect. Stems were glowing their colour. Nature just needed a photographer's eye to notice the beauty of the scene.
