The lighting, colours, reflections on the water and the archway of bending branches make for a very beautiful and serene view. It really is the perfect place for one of those 'at one with nature moments' because it has everything you need to take you there. A great find and capture Yves.
Thank you Heather. I am glad that you get the feeling too. For half my life I learned to see, learned to put beautyness in simple thing, learned to be touched in my soul by that way of seeing. Then I got a camera to share the way with nice person like you
Yves, this is an amazing landscape shot with the mood set very nicely by your narrative. A picnic a stroll or just to quietly meditate would make one very relaxed. The bent branch and warm lighting welcome you into the nicely composed scene.

We have similar stories Yves. I as well grew up respecting and enjoying nature and wildlife. The sight of a beautiful landscape or nature in action calms me and makes me appreciate the simple things in life.
what a great shot Yves. The lighting and focus along with the superb composition all contribute to this serene inviting scene. Stunning
Thank you so much Clifford. I was walking the Massawipi river along the Capleton road when I freezed, looking at that beautyful light and shadow scene. T'was early morning,no wind was disturbing the water. The bending branches where doing a so meaningful arch. I could not resist taking the shot. Febuary with minus 20 I will use that picture to warm-up.
