A lovely view the sailboats and cargo ships on the St. Lawrence as it wends its way across a sublime landscape. Very nice composition, tones and detail in this image Yves So interesting and well captured.

Thank you for the nice comments Heather.

Very nice landscape Yves with lots of interest and depth. I really like how the sky and water is separated by softly muted mountains and trees. The boats nicely pull ones eye to the line of trees. nicely captured.

Thank you Debra. I hope you viewed it with the zoom option. The lighting is much better and those little white sails are much more visible.

Description
This is a view of the St-Lawrence river from the Château Frontenac in the heart of Quebec city. A sunny Sunday with a heavy crowd. I was very surprised to see so many little white sails enjoying the day while huge cargo ships were going downstream to the Atlantic sea.
