I can imagine the excitement as the eagle came into range and was positioned nicely to get these series of shots showing off his imposing demeanor. Very nice timing, the burst mode worked good for you.
Excited I was for sure. I had an opportunity to test the burst mode, see its limits and when it can be useful.

Hi Heather. I know that the bald eagle is an usual photo on this site, but for me it was a long time expected encounter. The scenario could not be more amazing, and so close to me.. I did not have to create the story, just describe what happened.
