I can imagine myself standing on the shore taking in everything that this beautiful area has to offer. Lovely landscape Yves you have definitely captured this village beautifully. I too love the boat in the foreground,

I can see you there too. You would fit the mood of the place. The HOVEY MANOR is greatly renowned for its gastronomic, may be you ever heard about it.

I especially like the contrasts in the homes you captured here, it make for a really interesting image. And although the houses vary in size and stature they all share a great view of this tranquil lakeside retreat. Nice timing on capturing the little boat in action too. Great shot Yves.

Thanks for the nice comments Heather. The mountain is so close to the shore that the little village can not expand at all. But I think everybody like it that small.

Clifford Dupuis

Awesome shot of this tranquil community. Very inviting.

Tankk you Clifford. I am not very confident with landscape shots but I like to do some once in a while.

Description
The very small village (665 inhabitants ) stands at the base of a steep mountain on the north end of the beautyful, long and deep Massawipi lake. The little village is renowned for water activities, restaurants and galleries, or rich domain builts in the dense forest of the mountain cliffs (to spend a peaceful weekend).
