Beautiful soft colour tones in this shot Yves, and great shot of the Heron, love the contrast as Clifford stated. You certainly know your equipment and how to capture and process a shot like this one. Well done.

Yves Langlois

Thank you so much Debra. My experience is that a fair distance between the subject and the background usualy produce that kind of contrast. But of course the bird don't care (at all) about that. But Mother Nature does. :)

Super shot Yves. I really like the beautiful mottled background tones and the animated pose you caught him in. The punk like hairdo is the icing on the cake in this delightful capture.

Yves Langlois

He was so far that I could not even identify the bird. Imagine if I could have been as close as with the other photo. Of course the hairdo is the reason why I show it.

Clifford Dupuis

Another fine shot Yves. The bokeh and soft colors vs the wild hairdo provide an interesting contrast. Nicely done

Yves Langlois

I presents that shot for the hairdo and pose of the bird.. I took the shot even if the bird was really far. That photo is highly cropted. I discovers that the quality of the lens and if the condition of shooting are good that kind of croping is possible.
