Heather said it all. Beautyfull capture and a good narrative. Glad to have a follow up from the little osprey family. Just to mention the funny head of the second juvenile in the nest. Look like he is pretty happy.

Thank you Yves, yes they can be pretty animated bobbing their heads from side to side and the wind as well can really ruffle the feathers.

Awesome capture Debra. Excellent detail on all of the birds against the soft sky tones and that amazing nest and I love the expression you caught of her calling to him. It's not often that we get to see a view like this.. Well done.

Thank you Heather. She was quite persistent. When I didn’t see any other danger in the sky I thought maybe I had overstayed my welcome. I started to walk back to the car and that was when the male returned. So all the calling was for him to return.

Description
The female Osprey was calling quite loudly for her mate to return. There was no immediate danger in the sky that I could see. After 5 minutes of the female calling the male Osprey returned to the nest with a fish to feed the family. The two on the left are the juvenile Osprey. The one sitting on the rim was letting the wind gently lift his wings up but did not attempt to fly yet. This picture was taken on Friday and I am sure he would be flying by today.
