You did a great job on this see through shot Yves and chose the perfect positioning on it. The bird stands out so beautifully here and that plume of head feathers really makes the image pop. I agree with Debra.. and add another huge thank you to the people who dedicate their efforts to rescuing these very deserving animals.

Great job Yves positioning his head through the chain link. The fence only adds to the narrative. Very pretty bird. A big thank you to all individuals that shelter and take care of the animals.

I reread my comment Yves and my wording about the fence could be confusing. I meant that the fencing only enhances the image along with the narrative.

Many thanks to you Debra. I hesitate a bit to put on that shot because of the fence. We are suposed to show animals like if they are in paradise. Believe me that bird is in paradis actualy. The fence in a protection, not a cage. Next to the bird there was two happy grizzly bears playing in a fresh water pond.

Presenting that shot to cheers up people that love so much animals that they created a refuge for those wounded, about to be euthanized or leftover creatures. Their heart&soul, money&time are dedicated to give to them the best life possible. I figure out that prety nice bird worth an appearance on the photo club. I could not get rid of the fence but I manage to put the face in a square to reduce the effect.
