I love the contrast between the darker taller foreground grass and the brighter open path that the fawn is moving towards. Nicely captured Yves.

You know me well Debra. You have the feeling that the shot is meaningful in many ways, and you 're dam right. Just to mention a living creature making the choice that move him from darkness to light., from the fearness of being alone in the tall grass with an approaching danger to the confidence of beeing two to discovers the wold.

Heather Mellon

A beautiful profile shot of this fawn as he follows the other fawns lead. Very nice focus and detail in this one too Yves. Very expressive too..

Thanks Heather. He finaly made his choice. By the way - I hesitate long to present a serie of 5 shots. Respect to the members I have a rule that says (never more than 3 shots in a row). I tried hard to reduce to 3 but couldn't. The 5 shots were importnt for the story. So like the little guy, I had to broke the rule to go on.

The hidden little one finaly made a choice and disobey mom's rule to joined his brother to be part of the exciting moment of a closer encounter with an alien.
