A beautiful capture Yves. Excellent focus, detail and their differing poses stand out very well against the beautiful bokeh. Your narrative on this beautiful species is interesting also. Several pair of these swallows used to nest together in one big bird house in front of our house and we never tired of watching their antics. They're very smart birds and were a total joy to watch.

Thanks Heather. That was a delightful moment of photography. From a distance I first saw the two chicks and the mother feeding and going back to hunt. I approach very close to the chicks and got ready for the shot at the return of the mother. The little guys were so cute that I took photos of their emotion while checking the hunting mother.

Very interesting information on these swallows. I like this storyline.

Thank you Jenny. Sometime we have the opportunity for a little story. It is always a pleasure to write something about the photo.

Description
THe story goes that the swallow mother let the 2 chicks nearby the zone zone of the marsh were she hunt, so they will learn how. They already fly very well. Notice the bigger one on top. He is the chosen one, fed first and with more stuff. The rule here is not individual equity but species survival.
