Very nice floral Yves. The burgundy pansies contrast beautifully with the tall grasses surrounding them and since you mentioned it, I agree that this image has a painterly look about it.. and that's definitely a good thing. Very nicely captured, colorful and creative looking.

I like the vivid red of the pansy and how the pansies are still glowing through all the green invading plants. Nice contrast and composition Yves.
Thank you very much Debra. For me there is something strange about the contrast here. It happen once in a while with flower composition. The overall picture look more like an artist creation than a realistic photo. Don't know what produce that effect, may be the light and shadows.
