This is one of the best Goldfinch pics I have seen that has been captured in its natural surroundings. The mood, lighting and colors are all number one. Well done Yves
Thank you Clifford. I'd say shooting birds is more hazardous than scenery and landscape. Of course, the skill is important, the experience counts, but a really nice shot needs a big part of luck. It reminds me everytime that Life is on my side.
An outstanding portrait of this beauty Yves. The background greenery sets him off perfectly and you caught him in the perfect pose. One of your best and well worth framing too, I'd say..
Your nice comments are very appreciated Heather. As a photographer I am getting better but I still don't control the richness of the colors. That one shot is still a gift from Mother Nature and it is OK for me that way.
Wonderful composition and focus Yves, I love the soft yellow feathers against the green background. Great job capturing this cute bird in his element.
Thank you so much for the comments. I followed the bird for few shots, here and there in the bushes. Finaly got that one with the right sunlight, a nice pose and no branches in front.
