Love the pov, pose and detailing you captured in this one Yves. She stands out beautifully against the soft background tones and your focus is spot on.

thank you Hether. I replied to you early this morning but they seem to have lost the reply. Not presenting that one for the colours and compo but for the important moment in the bird's life.

Thank you so much Heather. No great colours and compo on that one but I spent a very nice moment with the lady.

Yves, I shared your frustration in being unable to find your reply. In fact there were times I couldn't even find the three photos I had enjoyed posting comments on. Glad they're now showing.. and I especially like what you said about this being such an important moment in this birds life. A very insightful reason for taking the photo and uploading it too. Thanks for sharing that moment with us!

Description
This red-winged blackbird female was struggling with the thread, figuring out how to start a strong base for a good nest. Must be her first trial because she had choosen a spot too close to the very crowded trail. I took few shots. Not to disturb I left, expecting to come back every day to capture the full making of the nest. Sory folks, The day after she had moved to a more appropriate place
