I know that type of day quite well Yves. I think it gives the image a mysterious feel especially with the other birds hanging out with the eagle. It makes we wonder what lies below. Nice image and story.

Thank you Debra. Now that I know the nice effect of the fog I will not miss the opportunity next year. The river bank lies below and that part of the river is the prefered one for birds of prey because of the shallow running water. With a good sun the trout doesn't stand a chance.

Very cool capture, Yves. The eagle shows very nicely here in spite of the thick fog and his buddies looking up him here add a lot of interest to the image. Great shot!

Thank you Heather. That shot was done not long after the mallard couple (last week photo). Imagine if it has been a nice day with no fog. Life goes on and we just have to go with it.

Description
The morning sun was announcing a hot day. On the Magog river, the thick fog was slowly raising. On top of the tall dead pine, a bald eagle (with its usual friends) was waiting for a clear sight to start fishing.
