I just love the story behind this photo. It's so nice to be able to enjoy nature that way and photograph a friendly mallard at the same time. Something to remember through the long winter ahead. She's a beautiful bird and you captured her perfectly.

Description
Taken at the Drummond dam on the Magog river. I use to sit on a small floating pier used by kayakers that have to portage to avoid the drop down of the waters. I like to feel the nature around and wait for someting to capture. That lady mallard came in from far away and jumped onto the pier to spend the moment close to me.
