Excellent focus and detail on the turtle and the marsh. You captured the beauty of the moment and the marsh perfectly in this one Yves. Gorgeous image.

What a great composition Yves. Nice lighting really bringing out the colours and detail in the image. The turtle looks so happy sunning himself on his private island…life on the marsh is good. Nicely seen and captured.

Yves Langlois

Thanks Debra. The compo was already there. I am always delighted when the lighting produce that profound blue. It gives an image a good boost. That loved moment will sure help me goes through the winter.

Description
Twice a week in july I walked the marsh trail in Ste-Catherine-de-Hatley. Every morning this painted turtle was there, sunbathing on its little bushy island. The scenery was so pleasant to my eye that I could not resist longing the moment and take few shots.
