Thank you Clifford. Playing with words is as much a passion as Nature photography

Wow, fabulous scenery and image Yves. The geese are the perfect size in the frame showing the surrounding habitat I like the humour in your narrative. Very very nice.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Debra. The background forest and the water tones is something I like very much in that image.

Heather Mellon

Excellent shot, Yves. They're all in sync as they approach the water and I agree with you that at this point the geese always look their best upon landing. The view is nicely reflected on the water and it makes for a beautiful image.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Heather. I have heard them from very far so I was ready and waiting for them when they did the landing.

Description
I always like that angle of sighting at the landing geese. On that specific moment, when they hit the ground effect, they look like short winged basketballs, rolling left and right to adjust the arrival. Then they transforms for touchdown and the magic vanishes.Taken at the Island of the marsh (Magog lake) in Ste-Catherine-de-Hatley.
