Very handsome looking fellow and another excellent pose with great eye contact and detail. Your deer photos are always a treat to view and reflect the fondness you have for them. Great shot, Debra.

Thanks very muchHeather, I really enjoy this time of year.

What a great shot. You have caught an awesome expression of this guy in his natural environment

Debra Plett

Thx very much Clifford, just glad that he didn’t bolt right away.

Great shot Debra. Your captures always have a special signature. You are presenting the guy in a very majestic pose. position of the back legs suggest he was walking and stop just to stare at you. Appreciate the elongated body and the front body a little higher than the back,. Not seemed to be a sunny day but you did a good job and the shot is clear. bravo!

Thanks again Yves. I will be sorry not to see your images any more. Yes the buck was moving very cautiously along. I am glad that he was nervous around cars and people.

Description
I am sharing both pictures as I like # 1 for the small area of lighting that the buck had almost moved into. He didn't give me much of a chance to get the picture before he darted off into the bush and eventually across the road after a couple of does. In shot number 2 he was kind enough to give me this great pose and a stare before taking off.
