Nicely timed picture.?

Yves Langlois

Thank you Tony. To the naked eye at a distance they didn't look like that. I am quite proud because last summer it would have been a bad shot. I am still practicing but this summer I am a lot better at it.

Heather Mellon

A beautiful action shot, Yves, the Kingfishers really shine against the autumn colours reflected on the water. Perfect timing on this one and I like how the one bird's wing seems to be touching the water.

Fall colours are at their best actualy to enhence an image. I am quite good at those fast flying bird shot now. The camera is always set ready for fast action 1/2000. But raise the cam, find the moving subject, put the focal dot on one of them was done as a reflex. I was real shoked to see the beauty of the result, specialy the one touching the the water..

Debra Plett

Super action shot Yves and I love how the falls colours have reflected into the water. Goody eye…very nice.

Yves Langlois

Thank you so much Debra. Even after many years I am not bored of the amazing reflection fall colours does. I am excited every season like a little kid, and every click is a great feeling.
