Lovely capture, Yves. He has quite the wing span while making a graceful landing with the stick in tow. The fog adds another element to the image.. very nicely done.

Thank you Heather. Quite proud of my timing on that one. Discovering and learning how the fog changes colours and the special mood it gives to an image is new for me and I like the effect.

Nice action Yves, I do like the landing pose you captured. It looks like the Osprey is bringing a stick to the tree top, maybe thinking about building a nest. How long do the Osprey stay in your area?

Yves Langlois

I came to the river too close to the osprey, that took off, made a large round and went to land on the tree. So I had time to follow and get ready for the final shot. I am not totaly sure but I'd say november. The middle of the river is totaly freezed only for two months

Description
Osprey landing on a dried dead pine on the river bank. The fog on that morning doesn't allow for clear details but the pose is nice. Taken at the Drummond dam on the Magog river.
