Thank you Heather. He was cooparating and I could take many shots. Usualy, only the head and tail are visible. On that one he had raised his body a lot. Fine with me.

You captured the muskrat at a nice angle Yves and It looks like he was close to shore or entering his shelter. Very nice. The water has nice light and shadows really adding to the wave action and vivid blue colour.

Thank you so much for nice comment Debra. You are right. I disturb him pretty close to the shore (near his shelber perhaps). He swam a little off the shore, then turn around, stopped and look at me. He was close enough for the 400mm. I like when the waves produce those black lines.
