Excellent composition, background color and detail on the stem of the thistle. I especially like the dance like motion of the seed itself and how feathery it looks in close-up mode. Very well captured and lovely to view, Yves.

Thank you so much Heather. The pose of the seed was perfect to show the complex and delicate feathers. So delicate in fact that, if I remember well, I had to go manual focus since the auto was not working properly. Agree with you. The close-up mode shows well why the slightess wind can transport them for a journey.

Beautiful composition Yves. I like the simplicity to this image making the seed the star. The seed has such a whimsical feel I believe this seed is about to have a fun journey. Very very nice.

Thanks Debra. I do love that shot very much for the simplicity and the amazing beauty of the lighted seed. First I tried to get that beauty at the moment the seed detach from the thistle (previous shot). Never could. Then I noticed that setup Nature made specialy for me. It is in the air but not moving so. Had plenty of time to do the shot I wanted.
